Whether your company is just starting its ESG journey, or you are revisiting and renewing your ESG strategy, this workshop will take you through the 6 steps to develop and implement your ESG strategy and reporting. We will outline the process for developing an effective ESG strategy - including governance requirements, stakeholder and materiality assessments, setting goals and targets, ESG reporting, and operationalizing your ESG strategy for maximum effectiveness. A mix of lectures and interactive/group work will demonstrate the concepts to participants and provide practical steps for implementation.

ESG Accelerator Program
A 3-month program that helps get your business to its first (or refreshed) ESG report! The program includes:
A benchmarking study of stakeholder ESG needs.
3 monthly workshops: In depth-information and homework for each of the steps in the ESG process.
October 25: Stakeholders and your company – review results of benchmarking survey and determine material ESG topics for your business.
November 15: ESG strategy and oversight - develop a board and/or policy framework; explore leadership approaches to ESG; determine ESG goals, targets, and strategies for your business.
December 13: Living and telling your ESG story - ESG reporting and operationalizing ESG within your business.
Personalized feedback, discussion, and valuable tools for building an ESG strategy within your business.

REMINDER: STEP members, through the ESG Strategy Support Program, may be eligible to receive reimbursement on 50% of costs, up to $5,000, for developing ESG strategies and materials to reach sustainability-focused buyers in domestic and international markets.
